HCE Engineer Christine Miranda organized the 13th annual Florida Water Environment Association (FWEA) Scholarship Golf Tournament for the Treasure Coast Chapter. The tournament took place on October 13th, 2017 and raised nearly $5,000 for scholarships that benefit students who will be pursuing careers related to water, wastewater, and environmental science. This event featured 18 holes of golf, raffle prizes, special competitions for “closest to the pin” and “longest drive”, a pink ball fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness, and a dinner ceremony to recognize sponsors. HCE is proud of Christine for being part of the directing board of this successful event for the last 13 years.
