On Saturday April 21st HCE employees volunteered at the City of Stuart’s annual WaterFest event. This event is an educational outreach program for all ages designed to promote awareness of water conservation and environmental issues. HCE partnered with the Florida Water Environment Association to offer an “edible aquifer” activity with the intention of teaching children and parents alike about Florida’s unique groundwater system. Waterfest was a wonderful event and HCE is proud to be a community partner for activities such as this.
