On Saturday, March 25th, HCE employees volunteered at the 2023 City of Stuart’s annual WaterFest event. WaterFest is a free to the public event that is geared towards young students and the public to show and educate various aspects of water supply, treatment, health, conservation, and the environment.
HCE employees Curtis Robinson, Christine Miranda and volunteer Lauren Meece provided young students and families with education about wastewater treatment and performed a demonstration of how gravity sewer pipelines and systems work. This is the 9th year HCE has participated in this event, and we are looking forward to continuing to participate in this important community educational event for years to come.
