On Saturday, March 23rd, HCE employees volunteered at the 10th Annual City of Stuart Water Fest on behalf of the Florida Water Environment Association. This free event is geared towards young students and designed to educate the public on the value of water and the importance of protecting our water resources. HCE volunteers provided an overview of wastewater treatment and offered an interactive demonstration showing the differences between flushable wipes and regular toilet paper in a sewer system. HCE has participated in this event since its inception in 2012 and we are proud to continue to be a community partner for such a meaningful, educational, and FUN event!
