On January 19th, HCE participated in the 2024 Florida Engineering Society (FES) Palm Beach / Treasure Coast Chapter Clay Shoot Tournament at the South Florida Shooting Club in Palm City, FL. This annual event is held to raise funds for FES supported initiatives including Sleep in Heavenly Peace and engineering student scholarships. Sleep in Heavenly Peace is a group of volunteers dedicated to building assembling and delivering top-notch bunk beds to children and families in need (https://shpbeds.org/chapter/fl-palm-beach-w/). The Treasure Coast chapter provides four named scholarships each year to deserving high school seniors and college students studying in the engineering field. HCE is proud to support these wonderful causes and be a part of this successful event!
