HCE helps our clients improve their water treatment operations in the face of three major challenges: aging equipment, new and more stringent regulations, and increased demand. We have designed, permitted, and constructed numerous water treatment plant improvements for South Florida utilities. Our experience allows us to provide our clients with budget-friendly and creative solutions to treating drinking water. Whether we are designing new facilities or upgrading existing equipment, we implement our solutions with the client’s goals and objectives and operation and maintenance of the facilities in mind.
Treatment Facility Improvements
HCE assists our clients with the design, permitting, and construction of improvement programs for upgrades to existing treatment facilities to comply with current and proposed drinking water regulations and to improve the operability and reliability of the treatment process. HCE has provided engineering services for a variety of water treatment plant facility improvements. Some of the projects we have been involved with include sodium hypochlorite storage, pumping and piping, chemical storage buildings, additions of on-site water mains and yard piping, and high service pump improvements.
Potable Water Storage
HCE has substantial experience for the design and construction management of potable water storage solutions. We have designed, permitted and provided construction administration for millions of gallons of potable water storage as well as associated piping and valving.
